OUR FARMING PRINCIPLES
100% GRASS FED WHITE DORPER LAMBS
Our animals, from birth, have been raised on their mother’s milk and then onto fresh grass and grass-type hay. Our animals are fed on high quality hay that we produce ourselves on farm, to ensure we know exactly what goes into our animals mouths. Our animals are never fed grain.
ETHICALLY PASTURE RAISED
All our animals are pasture raised, meaning they experience less stress and disease and have a better overall quality of life. Our animals get all of their nutrients from well managed pastures, moving regularly to ensure they are eating fresh grass daily. This ensures that we eliminate the use of
antibiotics completely.
We find that this a more humane and ethical lifestyle for the animals.
REGENERATIVE FARMING PRACTICES
We focus on soil health and animal welfare by using 5 principles:
1. Reduce soil disturbance through no tilling
2. Keep soil covered with plants growing all year round
3. Integrate livestock via planned rotational grazing
4. Maintain living roots year-round through biodiverse and multispecies crops
5. Allow optimal animal movement through no synthetic chemicals
